Montreal police, with Surete du Quebec and other regional police forces, raided a number of homes in the Montreal area and the Abitibi region in Quebec at about 6 a.m.
Police say the 11 arrested so far were Hells Angels members or close friends and family to the members of the outlaw motorcycle gang.
According to officer Yannick Ouimet of the Montreal police, the raids were successful in dismantling a large cocaine and marijuana sales and distribution network.
A press conference to outline the full scope of the raids is set for Monday afternoon."

Cops find $1-million worth of cocaine in Abbotsford: "Police found $1-million worth of cocaine in a vehicle pulled over on Highway 1 in Abbotsford Monday afternoon.
Abbotsford Police Department Const. Ian MacDonald said the vehicle was stopped at 2:45 p.m. by a heavily armed group of police currently investigating a drug case.
The group included members of the Abbotsford Gang Suppression Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit, the Crime Reduction Unit, K9, Patrol and the Municipal Integrated Emergency Response Team
A 28-year-old man driving the vehicle was arrested and a police search found 20 kilograms of cocaine in the vehicle.
MacDonald said the haul is worth at least $1 million"

Cops arrest 11 in drug sting linked to Hells Angels: "Police conducted 18 raids and arrested 11 people Tuesday morning in a bust of an alleged drug operation police said was linked to the Hells Angels.
Police raids were conducted on Montreal Island, Vaudreuil/Dorion, Candiac, St. Constant, Mercier, Chateauguay, Lavaltrie, Ste. Julienne, St. Columban, Lanthier, Rawdon and in Abitibi-Temiscamingue.
Police officers from several police forces were supporting Montreal police in the operation, Montreal police Constable Olivier Lapointe said.
Montreal police Constable Yannick Ouimet said the police operation targeted an organized drug ring involving in cocaine and marijuana and associated with the notorious Hell Angels biker gang."
